Tips and suggestions for using the freeware program Audacity.

Audacity is an open-source multi-track audio recording and editing program that runs under Microsoft Windows, Mac OS10 and Linux.

This program is a great way to get started in recording and editing. While it may not have all the productivity tools and sophisticated plug-ins of more powerful commercial programs, it may be quite sufficient for the occasional user. And as with most software, there are probably a few things that are easier to do in Audacity than in fancier programs.
